

| Tien Duong has been in practice since 2002. She graduated from Santa Clara Law School in 2002 and passed the California State Bar the same year. She acquired extensive courtroom experience and connections with other professionals during the first years of her practice. Then, she went on to start her own practice in the summer of 2006 in Sacramento, California. In the beginning of her practice, she made many court appearances in Sacramento County and all the neighboring counties on behalf of other attorneys. When she began to have her own workload, she successfully helped many individuals through dedicated and hard work in Immigration Law, Bankruptcy Law, Criminal Law, and Family Law. In many instances, many areas of law are intertwined in one case. Due to her diverse experience in the legal field, she was able to assist her clients all through their case: Obtaining their green card in Removal Proceeding, from the USCIS, through an appeal, through a Hardship Waiver; Expunging the client's extensive criminal records before she helped them get their Citizenship; Filing a dissolution action before applying for the appropriate remedy for the client's immigration proceeding; Obtaining a discharge in a difficult bankruptcy case. Negotiating an advantageous deal in criminal proceedings. She treats her clients from a human perspective as well as from a legal viewpoint. She sets out to assist people with affordable flat rate and allows people who might not otherwise afford an attorney, to obtain competent legal representation. She is fluent in English, French, and Vietnamese. She obtained her High School Diploma in France, attended college there before she transferred to California State University of Sacramento and finished her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with honors. She worked for an investment company before entering Santa Clara Law School. She continues to volunteer at the Voluntary Legal Services Program of Northern California. |
